Immediate opening for a Shipper & Receiver in the Manufacturing Department. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, day shift only. Our ideal candidate will provide the most efficient shipping and receiving process. Position is currently based in Hopkinton MA and will move to Marlborough MA within 1 year. 

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process all outbound shipments, including domestic and international, in a timely manner
• Package the product for shipping, including: bagging, boxing, labeling, palletizing, and banding
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to determine best shipping methods and pricing, and plan packing provisions for custom boxes and crates
• Coordinate and plan with production on daily shipping schedules, order shipping materials, and perform any other related duties assigned by management

Experience

• Two to three years of related work experience in shipping and manufacturing
• International shipping experience and export documentation a plus; compliance, SED, commercial invoice, and AES forms.
• Familiarity with shipping systems / booking via FEDEX, UPS, DHL, and LTL truckers and freight forwarding.
• Forklift certified a plus (not required)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and utilize hand trucks for moving materials. This is a very hands-on position and requires sitting, walking and/or standing for the duration of the entire shift. 
• Mental: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think critically, work independently with little supervision, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact positively as a team member with fellow co-workers and management.
• Must pass a drug test and background check. Valid driver’s license required.
• Candidates must be able to produce evidence of the permanent ability to live and work in the US as an employment contingency. 
• Employment is dependent on the results of an initial drug test, background check, and motor vehicle report (if applicable to the position)
