What does a Pharmacy Tech I do for Woodland Heights Medical Center? Job Duties:
- Maintains and optimizes the automated dispensing systems and temperature monitoring system.
- When requested, Assists the pharmacist in the preparation of IV admixtures, filling medication requests, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
- Your main role will be Medication Reconciliation.
Which Qualifications Do You Need? In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of…
- Certified as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Texas
- IV Certification is a requirement for this position
- Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Certification with the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is preferred
- All shifts are 8 hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as required
