Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is Hiring a Phlebotomist Float Near Cape Coral, FL

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician-owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are seeking a talented full-time Phlebotomist Float. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday.
Sample of Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients
  • Collect specimens in the correct container according to COLA requirements
  • Ensure the correct recording and labeling of all specimens collected
  • Clean, maintain, and stock phlebotomy area, draw stations, and patient restrooms
  • Provide coverage at our satellite practice laboratories on a regular basis
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulation
Minimum Requirements:
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
  • Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment to perform routine tests
  • One year of phlebotomy experience required
  • CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required
