Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is Hiring a Part-Time Check-In/Out Receptionist Near Fort Myers, FL

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Check-In/Out Receptionist for our new Metro Parkway Family practice in Fort Myers.

Sample of Duties:

Print, copy and distribute physician schedules as needed
Print patient encounter forms and prepare patient charts for appointments
Verify the accuracy of patient information and insurance plans
Assist patients with account questions or refers to the appropriate area
Receive, code, post patient payments, issue receipts, and process credit card transactions
Assist patients with account/balance questions or provides referral to Financial Counselor
Maintain accurate deposit information to include reports and encounter forms
Reconcile daily cash and maintains balances each day
Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Regular and reliable attendance required

Minimum Requirements:

Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience needed
