The Physicians Mutual Journey Marketing Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate the implementation of agent marketing projects. In this role, the supervisor will represent the department at various Company meetings as a project manager, subject matter expert, functional representative or team member.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

• Ensures Marketing activities and promotions are executed as planned.
• Controls and supervises all implementation and/or technical activities with the marketing area, i.e., social media, direct mail, online, lead generation
• Provides guidance, coordinates training and work activities, resolves problems with internal and external vendors and customers as needed.
• Coordinates marketing and fulfillment activities with other marketing divisions.
• Identifies problems with marketing promotions and coordinates their resolution with marketing areas and/or other affected departments to ensure customers are not negatively impacted.
• Participates in the development of the annual budget.
• Supervises Production staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and business experience is required.
• Requires a minimum 7 years of insurance-related experience, including at least 5 years exposure to marketing practices and general management processes and processes supporting print functions.
• Requires at least 5 years supervisory experience and excellent interpersonal skills, and working technical and business knowledge of insurance operational systems, insurance products, budget development and direct marketing.
• Working technical and business knowledge of insurance operational systems (that integrate with print functionality) and insurance products, (health, life and med supp) is required
• Strong project management skills, combined with a sense of urgency and accountability, to plan, organize, prioritize, problem solve and execute requirements related to document creation and management in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
• Sound PC skills with ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Access, etc. Photoshop, web design background is a plus.
• High level of initiative and self-confidence to be able to identify, initiate and complete tasks with minimal supervision
