Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Equipment Technician in our Building Services. The selected candidate will service and maintain Company equipment to ensure a steady and safe work flow. Repairs or adjusts electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; performs scheduled preventive maintenance on same. Inventory and stocks parts and supplies. Designs new or modifies existing parts or equipment (such as parts that are subject to high stress or wear). Build, reconfigure and relocate offices, cubicles and furniture.
Job Qualifications:

• High School education required.
• Associates Degree in the electrical/mechanical field or equivalent is desirable.
• 2-3 years prior experience with electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is required to prepare for this position.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must have diagnostic flexibility to assess conditions of equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and or other schematics of equipment and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to utilize shop/repair manuals and equipment specification manuals.
• Must have an aptitude for working well with others in a team environment. 
• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing). 
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. 
• Ability to stand/walk frequently.
