JOB TITLE: Receptionist
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Receptionist provides assistance to visitors and patients in a kind and courteous manner and accurately directs incoming telephone calls in an effort toward promoting departmental efficiency. The Receptionist answers routine questions and provides assistance and directions when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of hospital or medical office experience preferred. Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way. Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand. Shows a genuine desire to work and improve the hospital as a whole. Outstanding multi-tasking abilities. Strong medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint). Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
