Overview

Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health Hospitals/Gotham Health, Bushwick is located on 815 Broadway in Brooklyn. The goal of this Center is to provide outpatient services to patients at high risk of contracting Covid-19, as well as short- and long-term follow-up care for those recovering from the disease. Preliminary evidence links Covid-19 to potential heart damage, lung injuries, blood clots, and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

Developmental-behavioral pediatricians evaluate, counsel, and provide treatment for children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties, including:

Learning disorders including dyslexia, writing diffi culties, math disorders, and other school-related learning problemsAttention and behavioral disorders including attention-defi cit/hyperactivity disorder and associated conditions including oppositional-defi ant behavior, conduct problems, depression, and anxiety disordersTics, Tourette syndrome, and other habit disordersRegulatory disorders including sleep disorders, feeding problems, discipline diffi culties, complicated toilet-training issues, enuresis (bedwetting), and encopresis (soiling)Developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, spina bifi da, mental retardation, autism spectrum disorders, and visual and hearing impairmentsDelayed development in speech, language, motor skills, and thinking abilityBehavioral and developmental problems complicating the full range of pediatric chronic illnesses and disabling conditions

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Pediatrics
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics
• Possess or be eligible for a New York State License

• Salary Amount or Range: $205,000 - $210,000
