Responsibilities:

  1. Develop personalized massage therapy treatment plans based on clients' individual needs, focusing on injury rehabilitation, pain management, and sports performance enhancement.
  2. Administer a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage, to address clients' specific concerns and goals.
  3. Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, to integrate massage therapy into comprehensive treatment plans.
  4. Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and client confidentiality at all times.
  5. Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and best practices.
  6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork among colleagues.

Qualifications:

  1. Current licensure as a Massage Therapist in the state of Utah.
  2. Certification in Massage Therapy from an accredited program.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a clinical or sports medicine setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in the assessment and treatment of clients.
  5. Proficiency in a variety of massage therapy techniques, including but not limited to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and provide clear and concise instructions to clients.
  7. Dedication to providing exceptional care and support to clients throughout their treatment journey, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes and improving quality of life.
  8. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development, including participation in continuing education and pursuit of advanced certifications or specialized training.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and caseloads.
