Phylway Construction has an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Surveyor Helper. Candidates should have at least five years of survey experience with a minimum of three years of experience in heavy civil construction. Projects are located in the Port Sulphur, LA area.

Construction Surveyor Helper Duties and Responsibilities

Topographic Surveys (land and hydrographic), construction layout, elevation levels

Maintain equipment

Maintain and submit electronic records of work activities daily

Construction Surveyor Helper Requirements and Qualifications

Five years verifiable survey experience with minimum three years in heavy civil construction

Must have proficient computer skills

Clean driving record

Clean drug and alcohol screen

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs

Must be available to work extended hours and weekends

Must be dependable and self-motivated

Must be able to work in a safe and responsible manner

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
