Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller/Collector for a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center situated in Beverly Hills, CA.

Medical Biller/Collector Responsibilities:

• Effectively managing and maintaining A/R status for all patient accounts.
• Identifying trends in claim denials and reimbursements within healthcare collections.
• Ensuring timely processing of appeals to optimize revenue recovery.
• Reconciling discrepancies between charges and payments.
• Promptly responding to queries and follow-ups.
• Accurately utilizing medical coding and modifiers based on physician documentation.

Medical Biller/Collector Qualifications:

• Possesses over one year of experience in physician medical collections.
• Familiarity with Worker's Compensation and multi-specialty ASC accounts.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of various insurance types, including HMO and PPO.
• Holds a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
