About the Medical Assistant Position:
ProHealth Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a pediatrics and adolescent specialty practice in Pasadena, CA. If you possess over two years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with pediatrics/adolescent specialty experience, we want to hear from you. What We Offer For Our Medical Assistant Position:

• Competitive Starting Salary: $20/hr based on experience.
• Location: Centrally located in the vibrant community of Pasadena, CA.
• Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, one week of vacation after one year, one week of sick leave annually, and a 401(k) Plan eligibility after one year.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in the front office, with phones, checking in patients, checking insurances, messages, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments.
• Assist in the back office as needed, warmly greet patients and guide them to examination rooms, prepping for examinations, record vital signs, and update medical histories.
• Administer vaccinations and injections, focusing on pediatric care.
• Assist physicians during medical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within examination rooms.
• Manage the inventory and restocking of exam room supplies.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Formal Medical Assistant certification or equivalent education.
• At least two years of relevant Medical Assisting experience, especially in a family/pediatric/adolescent practice setting.
• Compliance with all current COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
