Additional Job Details for Our Dental Assistant Role:
- Location: Encino/Tarzana area
- Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time.
Dental Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently stock and prepare dental operatories, ensuring readiness for each patient with necessary lab cases, charts, and instruments.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists, enhancing patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Skillfully take and process dental impressions and x-rays, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dental health standards.
- Apply topical fluoride, offer hygiene instructions, and support post-treatment patient care.
- Ensure the dental operatory is impeccably disinfected and sterilized, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and safety.
- Perform routine dental equipment maintenance and manage dental supply inventory.
- Support Dental Hygienist with various tasks including perio charting and sealant application as needed.
Dental Assistant Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid X-ray license and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant.
- At least 1 year of specialized experience in Endodontics.
- A proactive, patient-focused approach to dental assistance.
