Job Description:
Phoenix Technical Solutions is looking for a Factory Support Engineer to work with their GE Transportation customer.The engineering position is responsible for providing technical support for Locomotive production.These efforts include maintaining and creating manufacturing instructions, supporting tooling and manufacturing improvements to assure the proper assembly and manufacture of Locomotive components.
Responsibilities:
Desired Skills:
Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid interpersonal/communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of technical documentation (Engineering Specifications, SOP’s, etc…).
Experience/knowledge with general manufacturing processes and business practices.
Additional experience/knowledge with locomotive systems a plus.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent experience in a technical role.
