Job Description

The Program Manager (Supervising Counselor) is responsible for the supervision of a team of counselors and managing a specific caseload and/or provide assessments, individual, group or family counseling while providing sound, therapeutic treatment in a residential setting. The Program Manager is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all clinical program components. The Program Manager will be a motivated, professional, and compassionate person with a passion for saving and changing lives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESP ONS I BILITIES:

• Responsible for oversight and management of assigned counselors at the Citra Residential Center.

• Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and recommendation of candidates for hiring.

• Assist in the provision of staff orientation and ongoing training regarding clinical policies and procedures.

• Serve as a role model through positive, appropriate conduct and participation in special agency events. Project a positive image to the public.

• Review and develop treatment plans. Ensure that all treatment plans are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. Review treatment plans to determine that they are reflective of client's progress and development and that the client was appropriately involved in the process.

• Ensure client charts comply with CARF and/or other state agency standards, using Welligent Electronic Medical Record through regular chart reviews.

• Complete and submit prior to or no later than due date all reports, and documentation required by various funding sources.

• Complete all documentation requirements as designated; per 65D30 standards. Assist administrative staff to ensure that billing is accurate and reflective of the services provided.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Phoenix House Florida's electronic health record system (Welligent) sufficient to fulfill the duties required by this position within 30 days of employment.

• Manage a specific caseload and/or provide assessments, individual, group or family counseling that reflects department productivity standards as determined by Clinical Manager.

• Subsistence oversight and compliance. Noncompliance is addressed and brought to appropriate supervisor to address.

• The movement of the facility from reentry to primary is tracked real time, as applicable.

• Adhere to all Phoenix House Florida rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Business-related travel required

• Dress in a professional manner, as per Phoenix House Florida Dress Code.

• Proficient in understanding the contract requirement and performance expectations.

• Monitor Relias Training for direct reports and ensure that training requirements are completed by due date.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must possess a minimum of a master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum three years of professional experience in substance use counseling and/or mental health counseling.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/CEUs:

• Must meet the standards of a "Qualified Professional" in accordance with Chapter 397, FS.

• Must maintain a valid Florida Driver's License with no more than 4 points at any given time.
