Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Slitter to join our team. As a Steel Slitter, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut and slit steel coils into specific dimensions. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our steel products meet the required specifications.

Duties:
- Set up and operate steel slitting machines to cut and slit steel coils
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired dimensions and tolerances
- Monitor the slitting process to ensure accuracy and quality of cuts
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Experience operating milling machine, press brake machine, and stamping press
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to weld and work with sheet metal
- Familiarity with programming machinery for precise cuts
- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools
- Strong understanding of tooling concepts
- Ability to operate a crane safely
