Description

• Conduct regular audits and assessments of nursing practices and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and clinical teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on evidence-based practices, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, offering guidance and support in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to address quality-related issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing care.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate quality metrics, trends, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on quality improvement and management.
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and quality measurement systems preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Required Education and License:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
