Phoenix Home Care and Hospice in St Louis, Mo is looking for a Private Duty Nursing Scheduling Coordinator! If you are a people person, love to serve, have a heart for caring and take pride in your organizational skills, then Phoenix wants to hear from you!

This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day care delivered by nurses who are working in the homes with clients. Candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and think on their feet in a fast paced and rewarding position.

Primary Duties:

  • Coordinating schedules for nurses
  • Communicating frequently with nurses and families regarding care schedules
  • Conduct nurse interviews
  • Ensure authorizations are correct and care is scheduled accurately
  • Provide flexible options to nurse staff
  • Prioritize effective communication and collaboration
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate scheduling effectiveness

Experience Needed:

  • Working in an office environment
  • Working multiple software systems effectively
  • Ability to effectively work in in scheduling software and technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Computer proficient
