Job Description:We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Intermediate Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should hold at least a bachelor’s degree, have completed a Cyber 101 Course, and possess either an SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) or Cloud certification. As an Intermediate Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our organization's databases, ensuring data security, and contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Database Management: Administer, maintain, and optimize the organization's database systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.
  2. Security Compliance: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
  3. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime in case of system failures.
  4. Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement performance optimization techniques.
  5. Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions between database systems.

Education, Certificates…:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Cyber 101 Course: Successful completion of a Cyber 101 Course to demonstrate basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Certification: Possession of an SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) or Cloud certification is required.
