Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background of two years in a position of armed security, the military , or as a first responder. Candidate must possess strong skills in verbal conflict management, CPR, first aid, surveillance techniques, and relevant certifications.

Duties:

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security
- Conduct patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- When needed apprehend criminals, recover stolen property, and evict violators
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Skills:

Candidate must possess an active level III Commissioned Security Officer License and their own weapons and equipment.

As well as:
- Strong conflict management skills
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong observation skills
- Possession of a smart phone and reliable transportation

We are primarily interested in persons who can work Wed - Sat at this time. We will also consider candidates who can work only on Saturday.
