Posting Note:Phoenix Childrens and the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders seeks a faculty member to join the Pediatric Stem Cell Transplantation Program at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate should have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology / Oncology and preferably an additional year in pediatric BMT. Responsibilities include shared inpatient and night call responsibilities on the BMT service, management of outpatients in the clinic setting, and development of a clinical, translational and/or laboratory research program in a field relevant to stem cell transplantation. Teaching responsibilities may include medical students from the University of Arizona and Mayo Medical School, as well as Phoenix Childrens residents and Hem/Onc fellows. Qualified candidates should have a strong interest in mentoring and program development, be academically productive, and must be board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology subspecialty and have additional training or experience in stem cell transplantation.
The staff physician shall provide patient care services and will support the PCH mission of providing hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
