The Marketing Specialist-Demand Generation develops, manages and evolves marketing programs for PADT's Simulation Sales group. The primary objective of the role is to build top-of-funnel sales pipeline through demand generation activities, successful campaign execution and understanding of strategic market opportunities and sales priorities. The Marketing Specialist focuses heavily on optimizing digital campaigns/programs, lead nurturing, lead routing and re-engagement programs to create high-quality opportunities for the sales organization. This role is responsible for the setup, deployment, and management of automated campaigns, including integration of all campaign assets. The Marketing Specialist plans, directs, and coordinates the marketing of PADT's products and/or services by performing the following duties.
•Plan demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline for the sales organization
• Build, execute and improve innovative digital programs with multiple touch points, including emails, landing pages, and digital assets
• Manage email lead nurturing campaigns by determining the most effective points of interaction, report on campaigns and adjust as needed
• Identify new digital tactics to connect with market across all personas including users, managers and executives
• Monitor lead flow within the territory to ensure the appropriate sales channels are receiving and following up on leads
• Measure ROI of field marketing tactics through metrics analysis and reporting
• Implement list segmentation strategies for targeted campaigns
• Manage the lead qualification and handover process to Inside Sales and develop ways to continually improve key metrics
• Identify new tactics to connect with market across all personas including users, managers and executives
• Establish online marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services
• Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors in order to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity
• Plan and oversees the organization's advertising and promotion activities specifically linked to its Web presence, such as contests, tours, and seminars
• Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing Web-based campaigns
• Develop and recommend online commerce strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run
• Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy
• Prepare online marketing activity reports
• Attend online conferences and seminars
• Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Conduct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communication or related
• 3 years of professional marketing experience including experience with marketing automation software (B2B technical product marketing experience preferred)
• Minimum 3 years experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, marketing automation software, Sage50 accounting software; Design software; Internet software; Database software and Contact • Management systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in B2B demand generation environment preferred
• Experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation
