GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Attend to internal and external customers in the FBO. Responsible for directing and monitoring, as well as fueling aircraft. Assist with internal/external customers’ baggage and other needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform daily checks to ensure fuel quality and proper condition of equipment.
•Refuel aircraft through the proper and safe operation of fuel farm and fuel trucks.
•Marshall and park all aircraft arriving on ramp.
•Tug aircraft to organize ramp, pull in and out of hangars for customers and maintenance.
•Provide excellent customer service by assisting all inbound/outbound customers and crews with baggage, rides to drop off cars, rental cars,
crew requests, etc.
•Monitor ramp areas, taxiways, runway, and airport grounds for foreign debris and remove.
•Monitor operation of airport lighting system and troubleshoot problems, including replacing burned out bulbs and broken fixtures.
•When needed, provide coverage for FBO desk, phones, and radio.
•Make airport runs to and from the Atlanta Airport to pick up/drop off Phoenix employees and packages.
•Wash FBO vehicles and flight school airplanes.
•Assist maintenance with washing Phoenix airplanes when needed.
•Assist in maintaining overall tidiness of FBO and hangars (collecting trash, sweeping, etc.).
•Perform errands as needed for FBO, maintenance, and/or administrative functions.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
•HS Diploma or equivalent.
•Valid Driver’s License.
•Must be 21 years of age or older.
•Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
•Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•Talk and/or hear regularly throughout the day.
•Sitting, standing and walking throughout the day.
•Walk in wet or slippery conditions as needed.
•Handle moderate to extreme weather conditions as needed.
•Maneuver various sized aircraft as needed.
•Climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
•Use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms throughout the day.
•Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds as needed.
•Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
throughout the day.
Must be able to pass drug and background screen. EEO.
