Position: Phlebotomy Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience

State Requirements:

• CURRENT Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Oregon with a minimum of 2 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide copy of phlebotomy certificate upon request
• Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request

Weekends: Saturdays, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
