 As Chief Dietician you will be responsible for the overall nutritional care of patients/ residents in assigned units and to cover all other units when needed. Responsible for planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of nutritional care plans for patients. Responsible for documenting MDS, nutrition care plans in the patient medical record, according to nursing home policies and procedures. Responsible for menu modifications as needed

As a chief RD be a liaison between other dietitians and administration / other departments . Write nutritional service-related policy and procedure as needed. Perfume Quality Assurance performance improvement and present at the committee meeting. Communicate with the Tube feeding company as needed for supplies and billing related activities. Perform chart audits. attend all nutritional service related meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field, required.
• Registered Dietitian, required
• Active member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, preferred.
