ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, troubleshoot, and run all 3 Schleuniger Wire Cutting machines.
• Read a tape measure using both metric and standard measurements and understand tolerances.
• Read blueprints and decipher the details on the prints.
• Perform repetitive lifting (picking up wires), twisting and turning and bending of body with wires in hand.
• Use computers and hand tools such as wrenches, battery operated drills, box cutters, allen wrenches, etc.
• Be a self-starter/self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectives.
• Maintain and promote a safe and clean working environment.
• Work overtime as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-year experience wire cutting
  • Several years of experience in manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of this requirement

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have acceptable attendance record
• Ability to stand for 10 hr. shifts
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Frequent lifting or moving (between 10 - 40 pounds)
