Proactively greet each and every guest and make them feel welcome, comfortable, special and relaxed. In many ways, you are the Captain of the Ship. Yours is the very first impression our guests have, so it is important that you are courteous, professional and accommodating. At all times, our Greeter staff is expected to communicate with guests, management and staff members in a courteous manner.
Welcome each incoming guest with a warm smile and sincere greeting
Strike up a conversation while walking guests to their table
Point out restrooms for their convenience
Smile, hand guests menus, let them know who their server will be
Ask if there is anything they need until their server arrives
Thank each guest as they leave the building. Invite them to return.
Answer all phone calls by the third ring
Offer full greeting. Smile while speaking on the phone!
When taking reservations, repeat back all information
Always ask if it is a special occasion
Maintain waitlist. Communicate with management regarding waitlist times
Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes. Clean and restock as needed
Maintain lobby area
Complete all opening, running and closing side work.
Work as a team with your coworkers
