Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is now hiring a Class A Vacation Relief Driver out of Indy! Shift is Monday-Friday Routes start at 7:00 am or earlier - mostly 10-hour days This position would be a vacation relief driver, however, you are guaranteed 40 hours a week Must be available for at least 1 overnight a week, depending on the route. Pay: $28.50/hour, plus the eligibility for safety bonus- there is an additional $2.00/hour for attendance paid out biweekly Your Responsibilities:Both stage and remove trailers in to and out of bay doors as needed.Transport tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and any and/or all other equipment back to and from equipment vendors and repair shops.The pickup vendor supplied products from various vendorsMake volume-size deliveries to customers only on an as-needed basis.Ensure that the workload that is tendered to you is completed in a timely and efficient manner.Prepare all required assigned documentation, including daily logs and reports, in accordance with Phillips Feed policiesMaintain and protect all company property entrusted to the driverParticipates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss of time injuries. Always make a safe choice. Ensures proper PPE is used at all times. Watches out for co-workers and warns them when there are any safety issues or hazards.
