Salary is 180k to 200k bonus

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python/Java Architect/Developer with proficiency in AWS and strong data skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, portfolio management, or trading, and possess a deep understanding of software architecture principles, cloud computing, and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions using Python/Java within the financial services domain.
• Develop and maintain applications leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation of best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
• Utilize data engineering techniques to design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a software architect designing and implementing solutions using Python and Java. Open to any industry but preferably in financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and experience with cloud-based architectures and deployments.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies.
• Experience with financial data analysis, portfolio management, or trading systems is highly desirable.
