PURCHASING ASSOCIATE-SEVEN MONTH LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM

Base Salary is $65K to $75K (based upon candidate and experience); and Paid OT (if worked)

Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced Purchasing Associate to join its Administration Team for a Seven (7) Month LTA-Long Term Assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services to meet our firm’s needs and providing key support on multiple projects.

We have returned to the office in a hybrid model where employees will be in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Two to Four (2-4) years of Purchasing Experience in a Large Professional Service Institution required
• Quick learner with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
• Superb attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communications abilities, and impressive negotiation and customer service skills are critical
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook) is required
• Background in Data Analysis is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order creation, order tracking and management, and invoice reconciliation. Most purchases will be IT related (e.g., networking equipment, software, servers, etc.), though you will also be involved in purchasing a wide range of goods, from office supplies and furniture to printed materials and cleaning supplies.
