As an IT Asset Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management and optimization of IT assets (laptops, monitors, headsets, keyboards, AV equipment etc.) for our clients, primarily federal agencies. Your experience will be leveraged to provide expert guidance to deploy, monitor and repair IT assets. Familiarity with Sunflower, ZenDesk and ServiceNow is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management strategies to maximize asset value for federal agencies.
• Ensure IT assets are appropriately labeled catalogued and tracked in an asset management system.
• Make recommendations for the deployment and retrieval of IT assets when personnel is onboarded and offboarded.
• Ensure accurate tracking of IT assets in the asset management systems.
• Report to government stakeholders weekly on the inventory of assets available and equipment which is running low on inventory.
• Lead a team of 4 IT asset management professionals, offering mentorship and guidance on best techniques to deploy government furnished equipment and ensure proper collection of said equipment.
• Stay abreast of federal regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure all IT assets are managed in accordance with relevant laws.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (an advanced degree or certification such as HDI certification is a plus)
• A minimum of 7 years of experience working as an IT Asset Manager for federal agencies preferred
• Familiarity with Sunflower, ZenDesk and ServiceNow
• Profound knowledge of federal IT regulations, compliance standards, and IT asset management best practices.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Must be onsite daily 5 days a week in Bethesda MD or Washington, DC
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• A proven track record of successful IT asset management in a newly formed federal agency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
