Pharmville Drug is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Farmville, NC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, simple compounding, assembling medication adherence blister packages, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications
- Assist in the simple compounding of medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

-Pharmacy Technician Certification Preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
