Full-Time Floating Hospital Pharmacy Technician Position Available - This position will travel to hospitals in the area to staff within the pharmacy, assist with pharmacy projects, and provide additional support as needed.

• Full-Time: (4-5 days each week Monday-Friday)(30-40 hours per week). Dayshift only. One weekend per month.

• Travel: This position will work at multiple hospitals in the Madison, Ga area. The majority of travel is within 1 hour and a half radius of Madison, GA with a maximum travel radius of 2 hours. Mileage reimbursement included as well as incentive pay. 
• Facilities are located in Macon, Warner Robins, Eatonton, Toccoa and Clayton , Georgia. Possibly others depending on candidates location and willingness to travel. 
• Minimum Experience: 1 Year as Pharmacy Technician
• Preferred Experience: 1 Year as Hospital Pharmacy Technician with IV experience 

Job Description:

Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Receives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and supplies. Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations. Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordingly.
