Located on the Wellmont Arts Plaza, our bar pays homage to the original Pharmacie soda shop, which served as the box office entrance for the Wellmont Theater. With our vintage-inspired decor, exposed brick, black-and-white tile, and classic marble, Pharmacie Bar provides a convivial gathering place for pre-show libations and a unique craft cocktail experience.

Job Description: As a bartender at Pharmacie Bar, you will have the opportunity to showcase your craft cocktail skills and provide exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

Craft Cocktail Creation: Demonstrating your expertise in crafting exquisite cocktails, you will create unique and delicious craft cocktails using premium spirits, house-made syrups, fresh fruits, and herbs. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the exceptional experience we offer our guests.

Menu Development: Collaborating with our team, you will contribute to the creation and evolution of our seasonal craft cocktail menu. Your knowledge of current trends and ingredients will help us curate a balanced selection of innovative and classic drinks.

Customer Service: Providing excellent hospitality is a top priority at Pharmacie Bar. You will engage with guests, take orders, and ensure that all patrons feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their visit. Your friendly and attentive demeanor will create a memorable experience for our guests.

Beverage Knowledge: Possessing a deep understanding of spirits, wines, and beers, you will confidently educate guests about our craft cocktail offerings, make informed recommendations, and provide tasting notes. Your expertise will enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to a lively atmosphere.

Bar Operations: Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar is essential. You will adhere to all standard operating procedures, including responsible alcohol service and inventory management. Attention to detail and efficiency will be key to your success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-end establishment.
• Extensive knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
• Proficiency in using bar tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
