Job Summary

More and more customers are buying in to our patented, novel approach to distributed audio. This, along with our commitment to customer satisfaction has allowed us to experience unprecedented growth. We are currently seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician responsible for the configuration and installation of Audio Visual solutions for our residential and commercial customers. This position involves installing and servicing home automation systems, including AV, control systems, and advanced networking. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a career in the local AV industry. Must be self motivated.

Responsibilities and Duties

• High School diploma or equivalent, tech school preferred
• Some Understanding of audiovisual, display and videoconferencing equipment, applications, and functionality is preferred
• Some Understanding of control system products and applications (RTI/Lutron/Control4, Elan etc) is preferred
• Some Experience in completing technical installation of audiovisual systems, including is preferred:
• Equipment rack configurations
• Site preparations including prewire
• Termination and calibration of audio and video equipment and accompanying wiring
• Education in electrical, AV field, and ability to read plan sets and architectural drawings
• Proficiency in wired and wireless networks
• Must be able to lift 75# and handle large pieces of equipment
• Proficiency in power tools
• Must have a current, valid driver's license
• Must be able to work in team environment with other subcontractors on and off of construction sites
• Must be able to communicate issues and progress with clients
• Must be able to regularly use ladders up to 35 feet
