Baker, Ingram & Associates is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience for our Lancaster, Pennsylvania Office. Accredited bachelor's degree and PE required.
Requirements: Effective oral and written communication skills and sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices. Experience with steel, concrete, and wood design. Advanced computer skills, including structural analysis and design software, word processing, and spreadsheet software. AutoCAD® literate. Revit® experience is a plus.

Responsible for structural design and documentation for multiple projects.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
Experience: 5-8 years in structural design
License: Registered Professional Engineer
Additional Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills and sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices. Sound computer skills, including structural analysis and design software, word processing, and spreadsheet Software. AutoCAD® and Revit® literate.
1. Prepares the design and analysis of structural systems for assigned projects.
2. Functions as Project Manager as assigned.
3. Coordinates structural system design with architect (client) and other engineering disciplines.
4. Assists the Project Manager as necessary in preparing the design, analysis, detailing, and supervision of project staff.
5. Assists in or conducts field investigations.
6. Review contractors required submittals for compliance with contract documents.
7. Prepares design sketches for final documentation.
8. Assists in CAD/Revit® drafting of plans and details.
9. Write project specifications.
10. Prepares comprehensive technical reports.
11. Establishes and maintains an effective professional relationship with associates, clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
