PGW Auto Glass is seeking an associate supply chain planning analyst responsible for forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels across the company's portfolio of products. This position requires a keen analytical mind and a thorough understanding of market trends, sales performance, and production capabilities. By accurately predicting future demand, the planning analyst ensures that PGW Auto Glass can meet customer needs while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

PGW Auto Glass is the most comprehensive distributor of automotive replacement glass, specialty parts, shop accessories, and digital services including exact match VIN decoding and Installer Business Services in North America. The company operates over 130 branches throughout the U.S. and Canada. Offering same-day and overnight deliveries, PGW Auto Glass serves OEM dealerships, collision repair shops, and automotive glass installers.

Your Seat at the Table

• Develop and maintain the demand planning model and ensure its accuracy and relevance

• Monitor and report on changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies

• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance and update forecast models based on changes in market and business trends

• Attend and actively participate in supply chain meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on demand planning analysis

• Collaborate with procurement and production planning teams to align inventory levels with forecasted demand, ensuring optimal stock availability

• Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts

• Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization tools to present demand forecasts and inventory levels to senior management

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning accuracy and inventory health

• Provide miscellaneous data analyses (including various ad hoc analyses as needed), data extraction, reports, and improvements to administrative processes to improve overall Supply Chain efficiency

• Assume other duties as assigned

• Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%)

What You Bring to the Table

• BS Degree preferred

• 0-3 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related fields

• Data analysis experience

• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

• Strong analytical and Microsoft Office software skills

• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal

• Ability to adapt well to change

• Strong attention to detail
