Park Ridge Country Club is located just outside the City of Chicago along the Northwest Train line. Since 1906, PRCC has been an integral part of the community and provided a recreational sanctuary for our families.
There are currently more than 600 Members in all categories who enjoy golf, tennis, swimming, paddle tennis, a la carte, social and banquet amenities.
The 18-hole parkland style course was routed by three classic architects (H.J Tweedie, Tom Bendelow & William Langford), and most recently restored by David Esler in 2001.
The Club is a founding member of the CDGA and has strong ties to the Western Golf Association. PRCC has hosted multiple tournaments, including the 1944 Women’s Western Open, 2017 Western Junior, 2021 Women’s Western Amateur, and is poised to host the 2027 Women’s Western Junior.
The 40,000sq ft. Georgian Style Clubhouse was built in 1925 and has undergone many transformations over the years. The Club enjoys a very active and engaged family-oriented membership and maintains a significant waitlist for people to join.
The Park Ridge Country Club course is a classic parklands design that is not at all long by today’s standards yet offers an interesting challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
A par 70 layout with five par 3 holes and just three par 5s. The course requires a variety of shots and a thoughtful plan for scoring, with varying degrees of risk and reward, depending on the player’s willingness to confront hazards, or avoid them.
Despite limitations of land area and topography, the holes are individually distinctive and visually appealing, with steeply faced sand bunkers and grassy mounds, along with numerous trees which have grown up over the years and line most fairways.
Fast, well-maintained greens, some with steep slopes and others with subtle breaks, require the player’s complete attention through the last shot played.
