Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of electrical work on the project site, including but not limited to:
• Ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and other workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assignments, and estimate material and labor requirements for projects
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of industrial equipment installations
• Investigate complaints about electrical systems and equipment, and take corrective action or recommend solutions
• Prepare reports and maintain records on work progress, materials used, and problems encountered
• Request needed supplies and equipment, and schedule delivery to avoid delays
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing work orders, maintaining time cards and payroll records, and writing reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10 years experience in the electrical industry, with 5 years in a management role
• Proven track record of successful project completion
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
