Registered Nurse

Summary:

The Colleague Wellness Nurse will provide clinical occupational health and wellness services dictated by established Pfizer guidelines and assist with clerical or other services as needed based on clinic needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts medical surveillance including spirometry, audiometric testing, vision testing, throat cultures, EKGs, and respirator fit testing
• Performs routine or specialized procedures such as venipuncture and drug screens
• Assesses injuries, performs first aid, cleanses and dresses wounds
• Flushes eyes and ears
• Maintains confidentiality with all patient care, familiar with HIPAA regulations
• Maintains medical equipment including daily calibrations
• Schedules and monitors patient appointments
• Performs record management for clinic records
• Provides administrative support to the clinic

Qualifications:

• RN Board Certification
• COHN-S preferred
• A minimum of 5 years experience as an OHW professional
• Demonstrates experience in acute episodic care, wellness care and counseling of adults
• Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record-keeping systems is desirable
• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) required
• Worker’s Compensation, OSHA, ADA experience
• Experience with treatment of injuries
• Medical screenings & Surveillance experience
• Ergonomics experience
• Preventative Care experience
• Medical documentation experience

Rate/Hours:

• $30 - $32 per hour
• This is a fully onsite role in McPerson, KS
• 40 hours per week (flexible hours) in a clinical setting
