VCRD Medical Monitor

Summary:

Join our team as a VCRD Medical Monitor and play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of data in clinical studies. As a key member of the study team, you will work closely with the supervising medical monitor to maintain data integrity and assist in various study-related tasks. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to medical research and make a difference in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the study team to ensure high quality of data is maintained by assisting with data review (per data review plan) assigned and overseen by the supervising medical monitor in the study. Data review could be safety or efficacy or any other assigned by and supervised by a medical monitor
• Assists medical monitor in other study-related tasks as required, such as the creation of PowerPoints for safety surveillance meetings, literature reviews, data cleaning, review of training materials, etc.
• There is no interaction with regulatory authorities, or in general no interaction with site staff.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (M.D./D.O. or equivalent)
• Must have practiced medicine in the US for a minimum of 3 years, license can be from outside of the U.S. but must be able and have practiced in the U.S.
• Industry or CRO experience is a must
• Former Pfizer experience a plus
• Possesses the ability to critically evaluate medical/scientific information
• Understand the design, development, and execution of clinical programs and studies
• Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
• No pharmaceutical industry experience is required
• Training and experience in infectious diseases and/or infection control in the hospital setting is preferred
• Experience with investigational clinical trials is preferred
• Experience with investigational clinical trials systems ( i.e INFORM, J-review) is preferred
• Experience with Excel, word documents, PowerPoint is preferred

Rate/Location:

• $95 - $101 per hour
• This is a fully remote position

In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
