About the Job
Are you a animal lover who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of pets? Get ready for a dynamic and rewarding career with PetSmart Veterinary Services! Our veterinary assistants play a vital role in supporting doctors and working directly with pets and their pet parents. In this position, you will greet ckuebts, check patient vital signs, recommend, and schedule procedures, and assist the doctor as required. As part of a fun and close-knit team, you will work to ensure customers receive the best medical care a veterinary practice has to offer.
Must-Haves:
- Expert written and verbal communication
- Proven customer service abilities
- Flexibility and willingness to perform many job duties within the hospital
- Friendly, positive, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to always learn new things and take initiative
- The ability to multitask and help the team as needed
- A basic understanding of veterinary preventitive care
- Comfortable with providing client education
Nice-to-Haves:
- 1 years of Veterinary hospital experience
- 1 years of experience in customer service roles
