Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in delivering medical care to patients.
• Safely handle and restrain animals during procedures and examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness in examination rooms and surgical suites.
• Perform laboratory procedures including blood draws and urinalysis.
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinary guidance.
• Offer support to pet owners and assist with administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a veterinary assistant or relevant experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling techniques.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassion for animals and commitment to their welfare.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Commerce City, CO 80022: Relocate before starting work (Required)
