Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC is a growing and well-loved boutique pet sitting and dog walking company, based out of Kingstowne and serving the surrounding communities and Old Towne, Alexandria. An Administrative Assistant is needed to complete tasks such as but not limited to maintaining and organizing client paperwork, scheduling client visits, updating client accounts in our online system, and assisting the owner in daily tasks. Additionally, the assistant will work in the field doing dog walks and cat sits as needed during work hours.

Days Needed: Monday- Friday with flexible hours such as 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm (total of 15-20 hours per week).

Requirements for the Administrative Assistant Position:

- You love animals AND people!

- You have a reliable car.

- You have a reliable smartphone that can support our company's software and can take photos.

- You can commit to working with us until at least October 2024.

- You are comfortable feeding, walking, and playing with pets according to their individual needs. You are able to monitor the behavior and health of the pets and report any concerns to the supervisor.

- You are available consistently Monday- Friday.

- You have strong communication skills (both orally and in writing) and ability to provide exceptional customer service.

- You are upbeat, positive, and kind.

- You are detail-oriented and organized and you are able to prioritize tasks in order to manage your time efficiently.

- You can pass a criminal /vehicle background check.

Hours/Pay rate: Probationary training period starts at $20/hour with the potential to move up to $25/hour within 6 months.
