Seasonal Caviar Clerk
Job Description: Luxury Gourmet Food Company looking for an energetic person to join our team. You will be working in our fast paced shipping department rotating between: packing orders, assisting in the receiving department and working in the caviar room.
Position Description: This is an entry level position. Job responsibilities will require you to check everything picked matches the pick ticket, properly pack orders that other clerks have picked with correct placement of ice packs into orders, make packing boxes and help load packages onto delivery truck and help keep workspaces clean and organized.
Assist receiving department manager with inventory.
Work in the cold room, packing caviar for shipping.
Qualifications:
Seasonal position – 35 to 40 hours per week with some flexibility required (some evenings until 9pm and some weekend hours required during our busy season)
Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment of 38 degrees
Must be able to work a shift of 8 – 12 hours a day
Must be able to stand for majority of your shift
Must be able to perform twisting, turning and bending
Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) lbs.
Must wear non-slip resistant shoes
Ability to clearly communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Exceptional organizational skills.
Must have high attention to detail and be able to multi task on a daily basis.
Able to work on your own when needed
