Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Duties:
- Operate POS systems to handle customer purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide product demonstrations to customers
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Assist customers in locating products and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote wireless sales or electronics products when applicable
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail or customer service
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Familiarity with electronic sales is a plus
- Ability to sell products and services effectively
