Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to join our team. As an Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain valuable experience in a corporate finance setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Enter journal entries into the accounting system
- Support the accounting team with various clerical tasks as needed
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial analysis
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting or financial services role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Quickbooks and MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
