Peterson & Reddy Dental care is located in Waldorf, MD. We are a non-corporate practice that prioritize the well-being of our patients and local community. We are searching for a dedicated full-time dental assistant to assist with a wide range of procedures. The ideal candidate for this position is flexible and eager to grow with our office.

More about the role

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental procedure, as well as assure patient comfort and provide appropriate treatment
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history in order to provide quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
• Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Chart existing restorations and conditions

Requirements

• Previous experience not required, but preferred
• X-Ray certification preferred
