The Women's Services Director is responsible 24/7 for the provision of safe and effective nursing care for prenatal, labor and delivery, post partum, nursery and postoperative GYN patients.
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing or Health Care Administration
Technical Skills
Required: Leadership, Relationship Building
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to grow the service lines, and/or begin new service lines
Licensure/Certification
Required: Current Texas RN Licensure or Compact state, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications
Preferred: RNC, CNE, CNEA, or related certification
Experience
Required: Experience in a leadership role of a Women’s Services, Maternal/Child and/or Labor and Delivery unit.
Preferred: Three years of experience in a formal leadership position of a Women’s Services, Maternal/Child
and/or Labor and Delivery unit.
