Background Profile
· 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction equipment, preferably as a master mechanic.
· 5 years of experience in an equipment management role.
· Demonstrated experience managing large fleets of vehicles, machines and equipment.
· Expertise in machine diagnostics and repair, service agreements and contracts management, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
· Lead and administer the maintenance, repair, and management of all equipment for assigned facilities in accordance with company equipment standards to ensure company standards and goals are met.
· Implement department objectives and strategies to maintain an effective equipment program within the boundaries of Equipment Department policy.
· Act as a technical advisor to field equipment personnel to ensure projects are completed on time.
· Assist management team with final equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases in order to meet Regional budgetary goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
